In this step, you define how leave loading is calculated for each absence quota type, employee subgroup grouping and personnel subgroup grouping. To do this, you:
- Determine whether leave loading is paid on a fixed date or at the time of the absence
- Enter the percentage rate applied to leave loading (for example, 17.5% of the employee's gross income)
- Define the wage type used to pay leave loading
You may use Quota type selection rule group to control absence quota type selection based on the employees' organization assignment during time evaluation.
Example
Requirements
If you choose to pay leave loading on a fixed date, you must configure the time of payment in the Absence Quota Type Selection view (V_T559L). To configure the view, go to the step Define Generation Rules for Quota Selection in the Implementation Guide for Personnel Time Management.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model entries that you can copy and rename to create your own.
Recommendation
To change a record, SAP recommends that you delimit the validity dates of the existing record and create a new record.
SAP recommends that you set the Quota type selection rule group by using the feature QUOMO. The other methods of configuring Quota type selection rule group are by using:
- Function MOD in the time evaluation schema
- A personnel calculation rule you have written yourself in the time evaluation schema.
If you require to set the Quota type selection rule group through the time evaluation schema, using the above two methods, then you must set the Quota type selection rule group to blank in this table.
Activities
- Enter the employee and personnel subgroup groupings you want to configure for leave loading.
- Enter the quota type selection rule group, if applicable.
- Select an absence quota type.
- Enter the leave loading type, percentage and wage type.
