This step describes how to delete an advance payment and all the data associated with the advance payment.

Example

You have created an advance payment absence, assigned an employee to this absence type for a period of time, and run the advance payment creation program. Prior to running payroll for the period in which the employee is paid the absence, you must change or delete the absence.

Requirements

When executing the deletion program, you must make sure that the relation ID is Q3.

Activities

To delete an advance payment, you:

  1. Go to Human Resources -> Payroll -> Asia/Pacific -> Australia -> Per payroll period -> Other activities -> Advance payments -> Delete advance pymnt.

    You are now in the report Display and delete single records in database PCL2 (RPUP2D00).

  2. In the Sort field from parameter, enter the employee number followed by 0000000000.
  3. In the Sort field to parameter, enter the employee number followed by 99999999999.
  4. Flag the field Delete ?.
  5. In the password field, enter your user ID.
  6. Choose Execute.

    The system generates a list of all the advance payment payroll periods created for the employee.

  7. Select the periods relating to the advance payment that is to be reversed, and delete them.

    The periods you want to delete are those for which the dates relate to the Start and End dates of the advance payment absence.
