In this step, you configure the tax-free component of leave encashment. To do this, you enter the number of leave days that can be converted to cash without being subject to tax.

Requirements
The number of tax-free leave days you enter must coincide with the number of days stipulated by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Standard settings
Recommendation
To change the number of tax-free leave encashment days, SAP recommends that you delimit the validity dates of the existing record and create a new record.
Activities
Modify the constant Max Leave Days Conv'd No Tax (PHCLV) to meet your requirements by entering the appropriate validity dates and the number of tax-free leave encashment days currently stipulated by the BIR.
