In this step, you cumulate your 13th month and bonus wage types. These wage types are assigned to the employee in the Additional Payments infotype (0015). The payroll program evalutes the wage types and splits them into taxable and non-taxable payments.
Example
You want to set up all your bonus wage types so that they are processed as non-taxable payments by the payroll program.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model entries for 13th month and bonus wage types.
Recommendation
If you want to change the configuration of a wage type, SAP recommends that you delimit the validity dates of existing records and create new records.
Activities
To cumulate 13th month and bonus wage types, you:
- Flag the relevant wage type, and choose Goto -> Details.
- Enter a specification against the relevant processing class.
- Flag a cumulation.
- Enter a specification against the relevant evaluation class.
Further notes
During payroll, the system checks the ceiling on the 13th month and bonus non-taxable payments against the values stored in constant Max. Non-Tax 13th Month + Bonuses (PH13B).
