In this step, you create a tax grouping and assign the relevant tax identification number (TIN) and business code to the grouping. The tax grouping is generally used as a selection criteria for tax reporting.

The tax grouping consists of:

  • Tax group identifier
  • TIN
  • Business code

Define tax grouping:

Requirements

The business code must be defined prior to creating the tax grouping.

Standard settings

Recommendation

Each tax identification number should be unique for each tax grouping created. The tax identification number should not be assigned more than once.

Check, and if necessary, create and maintain the tax grouping according to your requirements.
