In this step, you maintain the tax number issued for your company by the tax authorities ('told and skat').

The tax number is linked to the tax key, which can be assigned freely. In turn, the tax key is linked to the personnel area and subarea. The key is encoded twice, since the tax number must be reassigned under certain circumstances (for example, bankruptcy or insolvency).

To divide data for the same personnel area/subarea correctly according to the tax creation date, the system must be able to display the tax number in time periods. This is not possible for the personnel subarea, since it is not divided into time periods.

Example

In the model company, tax key 01 was encoded with tax number 12345678 for personnel area DK01 and personnel subarea 0001.
