In this step, you maintain PBS wage type intervals and their assignment to SAP wage types according to the old method.
PBS wage types are divided into intervals that define their function in the interval. In the R/3 System, these intervals only show the wage types as they are stored in the PBS system. Hence, you must only maintain the wage types after consulting PBS.
Example
All model SAP wage types and technical wage types were assigned to PBS wage type intervals.
Requirements
Activating a new wage type interval involves more than simply entering the interval in the R/3 System. Hence contact a PBS consultant to maintain new wage type intervals.
