After maintaining the name and validity period of a tax form you will continue here when creating a new or changing an existing tax form. You will define the sequence of records on the data carrier and make a first high level definition of the contents of each record by doing the following steps:

  1. When you start maintenance you will see a selection popup first. Here the country grouping and a selection field for the tax form will be displayed. Please enter the name of the tax form you want to work on.
  2. Having selected the tax form you will see the list screen, with all data records belonging to the tax form and their attributes.
    If you select one line by a double-click you will see the detail screen, which shows the same information as the list screen for one particular record.
  3. You will enter records in the sequence they have to be output to the data carrier by assigning them to a Sequential number and entering an identifying text in free format. You will describe each record's contents by choosing an aggregation level. You can choose between:
    1. Print global tax company information: You select this option to print general data about the branch office like the name of the branch office, the address or the customer number of the branch at the bank the data carrier is submitted to.
    2. Print summed tax office data: By selecting this aggregation level, you can output data that is different for each tax office such as the residence tax collector number or the residence tax withheld per local tax office.
    3. Print summed tax company data: This level is intended for outputting sums or numbers per branch office.

Example

Please refer to the tax forms delivered in the standard system, where you have access to tax forms for the residence tax payment service of Daiichi-, Fuji-, Sakura- and Sanwa Bank.

Activities

You must perform these actions if you want to create a new tax form:

  1. Get a description of the format of the data carrier requested by the residence tax service bank.
  2. Transfer the record structure to the system.
