In this step, you set up the groupings with which the payroll driver accesses the tables during processing.
Example
You wish to generate different wage types for employees with accounting type 1 than for those with type 2.
Requirements
You have defined an employee subgroup grouping for accounting types. You must also enter a code for each grouping in the relevant tables.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP System, time type determination for accounting types 1,2 and 3 has the value 02.
The selection rule group for time wage types is assigned the value of the accounting type for reading the Time wage type selection rule
Recommendation
You should only make change if you want the payroll driver to access the tables differently for different accounting types. It is necessary to have entered a coding for the respective grouping in the appropriate tables.
Activities
- Decide on the groupings with which you wish the system to access the Time wage type selection rule and Assignment of time types to pairs tables for each accounting type.
- Copy the cycle TMOD to your own cycle, which should observe the customer-specific name range.
- Set the groupings to the appropriate values, where
- W is selection rule group for time wage types, and
- T the time type determination
- If there are more than 3 accounting types, insert 3 additional lines according to sample accounting types 1-3.
- Change the call of TMOD in schema TC00 to the name assigned to your own cycle.
Further note
The function can only be used in the initialization block (between functions BINI and EINI).
