In this step, you can specify the user wage types processed in Monthly Payroll for which you can set how the user wage types should be cumulated for income tax calculation. This is controlled by means of cumulation class 5.
Example
A meal allowance paid to an employee each month should be taxed
Standard settings
The SAP standard delivery system contains following cumulation class for income tax calculation of Monthly Payroll:
5 Taxable pay: if an allowance is taxable, set this cumulation class.
Activities
To check and, if necessary, change the setting for cumulation classes, proceed as follows:
- Select a wage type and choose Detail.
- Check the specification for cumulation class 5 according to the legal rules.
