In this step, you can specify the user wage types entered via Recurring Payments and Deductions infotype (0014), besides, you can define the valid amount of the wage types by specifying the valid date in the case of the amount is changed during the period. This is controlled by processing class 77.
You also can set how the user wage types should be cumulated for gross calculation. This is controlled by cumulation class 1 and 2.
Example
A commuter allowance is to paid as a recurring benefits. In case a railway fare is changed, the allowance amount prior to the change within the period should be paid out if processing class 77 of the wage type is set as 2.
Standard settings
The SAP standard system contains following processing classes and cumulation classes.
Processing class 77 has following standard specifications:
- 1 amount as of payday
- 2 amount at the beginning of the period
- 3 amount at the end of the period
- 4 factoring according to validity
Cumulation classes for gross calculation are listed below:
- 1 Total gross
- 2 Total gross (benefits in kind)
Note
For the user wage types entered via infotype 0014, cumulation class 1 must be specified only for payments. For deduction wage types, cumulation class 1 should not be specified. Cumulation class 2 should be specified only if the wage is a benefit in kind.
Activities
To check and, if necessary, change the value of processing class and cumulation class, proceed as follows:
- Select a wage type and choose Goto -> Details.
- Check and, if necessary, change the specification for processing class 77.
- Check and, if necessary, change the specification for cumulation class 1, and 2.
