Use
The Customizing settings in this section enable you to perform the following functions:
- Perform weighted overtime valuation for the wage types that save overtime hours during payroll run
- Convert overtime hours exceeding legal limit to compensatory absence quota by running the Time Off from Overtime (HJPULA_GRTIMEOF) report
Limitation
These functions are available only for the employees for whom you execute monthly payroll runs.
Requirements
Standard settings
These functions are applicable when you record employees' working time and handle overtime hours by the following methods:
Method A
- Record time using component Time Management
- Convert to wage types with different weightings before payroll run
Method B
- Record time using component Time Management
- Convert overtime hours into wage type with different weightings by payroll
Method C
- Record time using infotypes in component Payroll
- Maintain overtime hours by wage types with different weightings in the Employee Remuneration Information (2010) infotype
Method D
- Record time using infotypes in component Payroll
- Convert overtime hours into wage types with different weightings by payroll
Restriction:
We only provide the functions for Method D as of SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_HR 604).
