In this step, you define the pattern of Kijun-nai and Kijun-gai. The feature JKING determines the pattern of Kijun-nai and Kijun-gai for each payroll accounting area you have already defined.

Note

You can define as many payroll accounting area as you need in a client. However, you can select one pattern of Kijun-nai and Kijun-gai for each payroll accounting area.

Example

The pattern can fall into one of the following three examples:

  • The pattern 1 : Kijun-gai and Kijun-nai are the same period
    • Kijun-gai and Kijun-nai are both April :
  • The pattern 2 : Kijun-gai is previous period from Kijun-nai (No overlap)
    • Kijun-gai is March and Kijun-nai is April
  • The pattern 3 : Kijun-gai partly overlaps with Kijun-nai
    • Kijun-gai starts from 16th of March and ends at 15th of April, and Kijun-nai is April

Requirement

Before you set up feature JKING, you must first define payroll accounting area.

Standard settings

The SAP standard delivery system contains sample payroll accounting area and its setting.

Activities

To check and, if necessary, add the feature setting according to your requirements.
