In this step, you enter the formula, to reduce the wage types entered via either Basic Pay infotype(0008) or Recurring Payments/Deductions infotype (0014). The specifications for the processing class 10 controls this.

Standard setting

The SAP standard delivery system contains sample entries for following standard processing classes for reduction formulas:

  • For wage types in infotype 0014 whose processing class 77 is set as 4 (factoring) and Basic Pay wage types
    • Valid active days ratio (partial period) : 4
    • Valid working days ratio (total month) : 5
    • Valid days for payment ratio(partial period) :7
  • For wage types in infotype 0014 whose processing class 77 is set as other than 4 (factoring)
    • Valid active days ratio (total month) : 3
    • Reduction factor for allowance (total month): 6

Activities

  1. Check which wage types are entered via the infotypes Basic Pay or Recurring Payments/Deductions.
  2. Select a wage type to set.
  3. Enter the corresponding processing class for your wage types.
