In this step, you can set up constant amount for a family allowance.

Note

You only have to work through this section if you intend to provide such allowance under the same condition to all employees who have spouse and/or dependency.

Example

  • The allowance amount of 10,000 YEN is to be paid for an employee's depended spouce.
  • The allowance amount of 8,000 YEN is to be paid for the 1st dependent family member (1st child) other than the spouce.
  • The allowance amount of 6,500 YEN is to be paid for the 2nd dependent family member (2nd child) other than the spouce.
  • The allowance amount of 5,000 YEN is to be paid for the 3rd or more dependent family member (3rd child) other than the spouce.

    Note:
    If allowance amount is set only for spouce and 1st dependent, then the allowance amount defined for 1st dependent will be used for 2nd and more in case such dependent family member exist.

Standard settings

The SAP standard delivery system contains sample entries for following stnadard constants for a family allowance:

  • FMSPS amount paid for spouse
  • FMDPN amount paid for 1st dependent
  • FMDP2 amount paid for 2st dependent
  • FMDP3 amount paid for 3rd or more dependent

Activities

To check and, if necessary, change the value of constant, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the constant to be set.
  2. Check the specification of the constant and carry out to appropriate change in accordance to your requirements.
