In this step, you assign benefits wage types to stock purchase plans.

Example

Requirements

The Benefits Administration section of the Enterprise IMG is already fully implemented.

It is not possible to assign benefits wage types unless benefit plans are implemented and complete.

Standard settings

Wage types have already been assigned to the model benefit stock purchase plans provided with the standard delivery.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Select the stock purchase plan for which you want to enter wage types.
  2. Enter the begin date for validity of the wage types.
  3. Assign wage types to all the presented wage type fields .
  4. Select the bonus payment check box if you also want to process plan payments and deductions in bonus payroll runs.
  5. Save your entries.
  6. Repeat steps 1 to 5 for every plan.

Further notes

Depending on the way you have set up the plan, the system automatically requests only those wage types that are required for the plan.
