In the previous steps, you have already defined indirect valuation for the wage type representing the benefit salary by copying the model wage types and checking the settings in the step Check wage type characteristics.
In this step, you define the wage types that are actually taken into account in the calculation of the benefits salary when infotypes
- Basic Pay (0008),
- Recurring payments/deductions (0014), and
- Additional Payments (0015)
are read in the relevant period (one year).
Example
In the benefit salary you want to collect the compensation an employee has received with the wage type 'Basic Pay' in infotype 'Basic Pay' (0008) and with wage type 'SHOYO' in infotype 'Additional Payments' (0015) in the year before a certain date.
Requirements
The benefit salary wage types and their characteristics must have been defined.
Standard settings
The standard system contains a model wage type for the benefit salary.
Recommendation
Activities
- Delete any entries you do not need.
- Create new entries for the wage types you have set up as benefit salary.
- Enter the wage type name.
- Number the base wage types which are to be used as the bases for indirect valuation.
- Define the validity period.
- Enter base wage type(s) for indirect evaluation.
- Specify the percentage rate for weighting the base wage type.
