In this step, you maintain the addresses of your payroll units. These addresses are used as the company address for the wage statement. The key for the payroll unit is specified in the Address field. The ID field has the following meaning for addresses:
A - D = lines 1 - 5 Company name
Standard settings
The standard SAP system contains model entries which you can use as a template for your own entries.
Recommendation
Note that if you want to use the above IDs in the individual address lines with other or additional texts, you must modify accordingly all other programs which further process address data (for example, wage statement). For this reason, SAP recommends that you work with the IDs in the standard system.
Activities
To maintain the addresses of your payroll units, proceed as follows:
In the Address field, enter the name of the payroll unit.
In the ID and Address text fields, enter the payroll unit address.
Notes
Note that you can enter a contact person or telephone number in the payroll unit directly.
