In this step you can check the age at which an employee becomes a pensioner. The pension ages for women and men are determined separately. These specifications are stored in table T5CR0 and are required in order to calculate the social insurance amounts. The interval as specified by Earliest birth date - Latest birth date includes all birth date entries for which a statutory pension age is valid.
Example
Up to 12/31/2000, the statutory pension age for women was 62. As of 01/01/2001 the statutory pension age for women is 63.
This means that for employees with birth dates up to and including 1938, the statutory pension age is 62. For employees with birth dates as of 1939, the statutory pension age is 63.
This scenario is represented as follows in the Determination of Pension Age view (V_T5CR0):
