In this step, you modify the forms for the wage statement to suit your requirements. It may be necessary to modify the forms for the printers used in your company.
Standard settings
The standard SAP system contains 2 sample forms for the wage statement:
- HR_CH_LAW_Q: Horizontal format, form background is not printed.
- HR_CH_LAW_Q_H: Horizontal format, form background is printed.
- HR_CH_LAW_H: Vertical format, form background is not printed.
- HR_CH_LAW_H_H: Vertical format, form background is printed.
More space is available for company location and comments on the horizontal forms. The vertical forms are suitable for mail in window envelopes.
Use a Postscript printer for optimal processing of the background forms. A HP Laserjet printer, and other compatible printers, will also achieve similar results.
As a rule, no printer configuration is necessary for these printers for the background forms.
Activities
If form modifications are necessary, proceed as follows:
- Copy one SAP standard form from the client 000 into your Customizing client.
SAP recommend choosing a customer-specific name for the copied form (for example ZR_CH_LAW_*) to prevent accidentally overwriting any changes.
- Modify the copied form in your Customizing client.
