The evaluation class 5 and the processing classes 62 and 63 control wage types relating to the wage statement.
With evaluation class 5, the wage types are assigned to the fields in the wage statement. The evaluation class specification for a wage type matches the field number in the wage statement in which the wage type is shown.
Using processing class 62, you can control the +/- sign. A wage type, which is stored in the RT table with a negative value, is shown with a positive value in the wage statement if the processing class 62 is coded '-'. At present, in the standard system, only witholding tax wage types are coded in this way.
The processing class 63 controls whether a wage type, in addition to the gross, should be cumulated in field '1B' of the wage statement.
Example
The wage type M721 has the following specifications: Evaluation class 5: '2F', processing class 62: ' ', processing class 63: '+'.
In line with the evaluation class 5, the wage type is shown in wage statement field '2F'. On account of processing class 63, this wage type is cumulated in field '1B' in addition to the gross.

Model wage types and technical wage types are already coded for use.
