In this step, you check the wage types that are used to form the withholding tax basis.
For each wage type you can decide whether it is included in the following cumulations and grouped in each corresponding technical wage type:
Cumulation , Wage type
- 8 Withholding tax basis subset ,/108
- 9 Withholding tax basis fixed /109
- 17 Wthhld. tax one-time payment ,/117
- 18 Wthhld. tax subset Genf ,/118
- 19,Wthhld. tax fixed Genf /119
Check the keys of wage type /439 Non-industrial accident ER and /43B Non-industrial accident supplement ER carefully. They are coded as liable for withholding tax in the SAP standard system. However, the tax authorities' opinions on this matter are not clear.
Activities
Proceed as follows to check the coding of the wage types listed and change it if necessary:
- Select a wage type and choose Detail.
- Enter a validity period.
- Select all the above cumulations which should include the wage type in question.
