Ensure that all of the information required for financial and cost accounting purposes is created within payroll and stored as a wage type within payroll (example: a wage type that contains that part of remuneration which is paid for a public holiday if the amount must be posted separately).
The following always applies:
Customer wage types are created on the basis of model wage types. The model wage type settings must be checked and usually adjusted.
Technical wage types are maintained by SAP. Their settings should only be adjusted in exceptional circumstances. CAUTION: If changes are made, you may need to make the same changes for each release upgrade.
