If you use payroll periods of different lengths (e.g. monthly, bi-monthly, weekly), basic pay data related to a fixed time unit, for example, must be modified accordingly. This modification is carried out in partial period parameter TSDIVI and enables all of the calculations that use this partial period parameter to take account of the situation described above. Operation PPADJ, which calculates a correction factor for different time units, facilitates further modifications. The correction factor is calculated using data in the personal work schedule and the pertinent entry in table T510F in which payroll time units are assigned depending on the pay scale type, pay scale area, and employee subgroup grouping for pay scale provisions.
You need only carry out the activities described below if you have payroll periods of different lengths.
Requirements
You have carried out the activities under "Set up period for collective agreement" during master data maintenance.
You want to change wage types in your own personnel calculation rules using the correction factor calculated by operation PPADJ.
Activities
If necessary, modify your personnel calculation rules in accordance with the documentation on operation PPADJ.
