This step describes how to make the settings for transferring wage types from the preliminary settlement for multiple payroll runs.
You must first check personnel calculation rules CHM5, CHM6 and CHM7 which are processed in subschema CHML.
You must also check the coding of various wage types required for the MPR with regard to the following processing classes:
- 64
This replaces processing class 06 when the transition is made from single to multiple payroll runs.
- 65
This processing class controls which wage types from the last payroll account in the preliminary settlement are necessary for the MPR and may need to be imported to table LRT. The preliminary settlement for a MPR could either be the last payroll run in the previous period for this person (lowest priority) or the payroll run for the same period which had the second highest priority.
- 66
This processing class controls which wage types from the last payroll account are required for the payroll run and need to be imported into table LRT. It replaces processing class 06 for MPRs.
Activities
- Check the above rules. For each call up the appropriate view from the first three.
- If you want to change one of these rules, copy it and make the changes to the copy. Then enter the name of the copied rule in schema CHML accordingly. To do this, call up the fourth view.
- Call up the last view. Check the coding of the wage types here with regard to processing classes 64, 65 and 66. If necessary, change the coding according to your requirements.
Further notes
- For further information on transferring wage types from the preliminary settlement, please see the documentation on the above rules.
- The logical view linked to this step is 02_MFA01. For further information on maintaining wage types with logical views, please see the section "Environment for maintaining wage types" under "Basic settings" in this implementation guide.
