In this step, you maintain the hourly wage elements for the net estimate.
In addition to the actual net wage estimate, the hourly wage is made up of the following elements:
- Vacation allowance
- 13th month's salary
- Public holiday pay
- Health insurance contributions
All these elements of the hourly wage are stored as default wage types for infotype 0008 and are valuated indirectly using module variant CHSTD.
The net hourly wage forms the basis for valuation of these wage types; each hourly wage element is stored as a portion (in percent) of the net hours estimate, and these percentage rates can also depend on the employee's leave entitlement. The leave entitlement is determined during indirect valuation using features LVTYP and LVNUM.
The entry in the Leave entitlement field is generally taken as an upper limit, i.e. a percentage rate applies to an employee when his/ her leave entitlement is less than or the same as the upper limit specified. If a percentage rate is to be independent of the leave entitlement, specify the value 99.99 (maximum upper limit).
If you do not want to use all of the above hourly wage elements, change the default wage types in the step Define default wage types.
