In this step, you check rules CHS1 and CHS2 and schema CHAL.
Before release 4.0A:
If you work with the net estimate, you can use one of these two rules; both have the same value for the net estimate.
If you work with gross hourly wages, use rule CHS1 to calculate the portions of the wage attributed to leave and the 13 month's salary, irrespective of the employee's age. Use calculation rule CHS2 for an age-dependent calculation.
Check that the rule chosen is activated in schema CHAL. Note that you may not have both rules active.
After release 4.0A:
As of release of 4.0A the personnel calculation rule CHS1 is obsolete.
The constituent parts of the gross hourly wage (vacation, public holidays etc.) are calculated in the same way as for the net hourly wage using view V_T5C3C.
The calculation rule CHS2 is used for both gross and net hourly wages. As the relevant settings are executed in customizing, no adjustment is required to the calculation rule.
