Examples

  • The municipality Hofstetten has cost-of-living allowance level 1 assigned to it.
  • Different cost-of-living allowance levels are to apply in the municipality Winterthur - for example, cost-of-living allowance (COLA) level 6 applies in Winterthur-Oberseen and COLA level 5 applies in Winterthur-Sennhof.

Requirements

You must have already defined COLA levels before they can be assigned to a municipality or to a district. You make the necessary settings in the Maintain cost-of-living allowance levels and amounts step.

Standard settings

No entries exist in the standard delivered.

Activities

The entries are created in a 2 step maintenance dialog:

  1. Municipality step
    1. Choose New entries and create a municipality key and text for each municipality.
    2. Choose Save.
  2. Cost-of-living allowance levels step
    1. Select a municipality and choose Cost-of-living allowance levels.
    2. Choose New entries.
    3. Enter all the municipalities that are to receive their own cost-of-living allowance level.
    4. Choose Save.

Further notes

If only one cost-of-living allowance level is to apply in a municipality, only fill in the fields validity period and cost-of-living allowance level in the cost-of-living allowance steps. The municipality key and municipality text fields, on the other hand, need not be filled in.
