In this step you define which hourly or daily rates should be formed for individual persons during payroll accounting. You must specify the valuation bases in which each wage type included in payroll accounting via infotype 0008, Basic Pay, is to be used.
Prerequisites
Wage types that are not entered in the Basic Pay infotype cannot be used in creating valuation bases.
Standard settings
In standard personnel calculation rules X010 and X013, two hourly rates are created in technical wage types /001 and /002. Calculation rule X010 adds the period values (e.g. salary) of an employee. In calculation rule X013, this total is divided by the hours in a period (Basic remuneration divisor field) in the Basic Pay infotype. Division is not carried out for the hourly paid since hourly rates are already recorded for them.
Actions
Decide which hourly or daily rates you require.
Copy standard personnel calculation rule X010 and rename it Z010.
Define all required formulas in calculation rule Z010.
Copy standard personnel calculation rule X013 and rename it Z013.
Define all required formulas in calculation rule Z013.
Change the calculation rules accessed in schema CHT0 from X010 to Z010 and from X013 to Z013.
Document the new formulas.
Specify the valuation bases in which each basic pay wage type is to be used.
Note
If you only need one or two hourly rates and the existing formulas meet your requirements, you can skip steps 2 to 7.
