In this section you carry out the settings that affect the transfer of technical wage types from the previous payroll period.
To to this, you define how the wage types in this step are transferred, if required, from the previous payroll period.
Usually, this transfer takes place using the processing classes 06 (Importing WT from old payroll account to LRT) and 29 (transfer wage type from LRT to IT). In the case of insurances, the transfer with some wage types is controlled using processing class 75 (Transfer of wage types from ORT), which means that a direct transfer from the ORT table to the IT table takes place.
The reason for this special processing is due to the fact that the LRT table does not recognise any split codes although the wage tpyes for insurances have a C3-split. To preserve the information about wage type splits, these wage types are transferred directly from from ORT to IT using the personnel calculation rule CHOR (contained in schema CHV2).
Activities
Proceed as follows to check, and, if required, change the transfer of the wage types affected in this step from the previous payroll period.
- Select a wage type and choose Detail.
- If required, enter a new validity period.
- If required, define the specification of processing class 75.
