In this section you enter car rental rates that your company has negotiated with car rental providers.
Some of the entries required in this activity can be found in the relevant rate agreement.
The rate code must be registered with the relevant car rental companies. It does not need to be maintained in the reservation system, since it is forwarded via the reservation system directly to the provider.
In the IMG activity Define Price and Availability Strategies, you can then specify for each user group whether and how these rates are applied in an availability query or booking.

Requirements
The car rental companies available in the reservation systems are already defined in the standard system. To define new car rental companies that have been added to the reservation system, enter them in the section Define Car Rental Companies.

Activities
- Choose New Entries.
- Specify the type of the geographical area. If there are no restrictions in the rate agreement, choose not specified.
- Enter a geographical area. If there are no restrictions in the rate agreement, enter nothing in this field.
- Enter the key of the car rental company with which the rate agreement has been concluded.
- If necessary, enter the ID that the car rental company uses to identify your company.
- Specify the validity period of the negotiated rate (start and end date). You can restrict more than one time period.
Rate Data:
- Optionally, you can enter the contract number as additional internal identification of the rate.
- Enter the rate code (optional).
- Enter a description of the rate (optional).
Vehicle Service Arranged:
- You can optionally define a collection and delivery address.
- If User can change address data is selected, users can change the collection and delivery address online. Any address can be entered. Permissible entries should be arranged with the travel agency.
Further notes
The maintenance view in Customizing is language-dependent. Make sure that any necessary translations are done.
