If your company has negotiated specific rates with hotel chains, you can enter them in this step. The rates are defined in dependence on the following parameters:
- Geographical area
- Location
- Hotel chain or single hotel of a hotel chain
- Validity period
You can also delimit different time periods for a rate so that it can be, for example, valid for different locations depending on the time period.
In the chapter Define price and availability strategies, you can specify that enterprise-specific hotel rates be considered in availability queries in the connected reservation system. In availability queries the system checks whether negotiated rates are known in the reservation system and if there are offers that correspond with these rates. The system then lists the hotel providers sorted according to company and standard rates.
If the connected reservation system can not find an entry on the basis of a company rate, the system automatically performs a standard query and lists entries that are based on the general rates.
Requirements
- You have already defined hotel rates.
- The enterprise-specific hotel rate must be stored in the connected reservation system.
- You have defined cross-country and country-subdividing regions in the chapter Geographical situation .
