Use
In this activity you make GDS-specific settings concerning technical control of the global distribution systems (GDS) you are using.
For the situation Confirmation of Initial PNR you can specify whether access is through an individual module or a combined module.
For the situation Flight Availability you can specify how the cabin class is determined. With GDS, SAP, or SAP with display of the economy rates (restricted economy).
For the situation Flight Reservation you can specify whether a Short Sell from the availability list or a Long Sell with transfer of all relevant selection parameters should be made in a request.
For the situation Start of Initial PNR you can specify whether the initial PNR is based on individual modules or a combined module.
Requirements
After a system upgrade you must make sure that table TA23GDS_DECVAL is maintained.
Standard settings
SAP provides standard settings for optimal configuration of each global distribution system.
Activities
If the table is not maintained, run a comparison against the entries from client 000 using the client comparison function in the IMG activity.
