The purpose of feature TRVUS is to simplify assignment of control variants for Travel Planning to users.
You have already made settings in Customizing for Travel Planning depending on the control variant, for example, to display an available travel service, to display the price of available travel services or for the display strategy for hotel rates.
Among other things, in the following activities, objects are defined depending on the control variant for Travel Planning.
- Define price and availability strategies
- Define display strategy for hotel rates
- Define travel service categories
- Define maximum amounts for hotel nights
Requirements
You have alredy stored the permissible return values in Customizing for Travel Planning under Define grouping for travel planning control.
Example
You can, for example, specify different rules for displaying available travel services and the query type for Best Price flight depending on a certain grouping. This offers the advantage that a standard user, such as a traveler, is shown and can choose from a smaller selection of available services than an employee in the travel center, who may require a broader overview of all available services.
You set control of which user is to be assigned to which control variant for Travel Planning via feature TRVUS.
The scenario described would be possible, for example with following feature attributes:
Merkmal TRVUS
BNAME
-> MILLER
-> 01 Control variant travel agent
-> THOMAS
-> 01 Control variant travel agent
-> SONST
-> 02 Control variant traveler
