In this step you set up the processing queues for ticketing and booking for the sales office. Specifying the queue makes it possible for the sales offices to access all of the booking codes(PNRs) centrally. This guarantees stable communication between the respective sales office and SAP Travel Planning.
The queues help to sort bookings into "processing pigeonholes". In the subsequent activity Assign Queue Activities, the activities ticketing, price determination and booking/booking modification can be assigned to the queues.
The entries regarding queue number and category (see IMG activity Define Queue Categories) are used to identify resubmissions in the connected reservation system. They can be obtained from the respective sales offices.

Requirements
- Entries in IMG activities Define Reservation Systems and Define Logical Systems already exist in the standard system. Check these entries.
- You have defined sales offices.

Activities
- Choose New entries.
- Choose a reservation system, an appropriate sales office and a possible logical system.
- Queue: Enter the queue number.
Note: You can define more than one queue per sales office by defining more than one combination of reservation system/sales office/logical system. - Save your entries.
