Fulfillment sales offices are offices that carry out certain processing steps for virtual sales offices.

In this IMG activity you can assign the processing types queuing, ticketing and settlement respectively to specific fulfillment sales offices.

Effect of different processing types:

  • Queuing: Standardly, the booking of a travel plan is directed to the sales office specified here for processing.
  • Ticketing: You can specify your own sales office to issue tickets.
    If, during processing of a travel plan, you choose Travel plan -> Request ticket in the menu, the booking is sent to the sales office specified in this IMG activity. If you do not define a ticketing sales office, the Travel Planning dialog step Request ticket is not necessary because ticket issue then takes place automatically at the queuing sales office.
  • Settlement: This sales office carries out settlement of flight tickets. If you do not define a settlement sales office, this task is automatically fulfilled by the queuing sales office.

Normally all of these processing types are performed by one and the same sales office so that the one entry for the queuing sales office is sufficient. However, this IMG activity offers you the option to define different fulfillment offices for the individual processing types.

Requirements

You have defined sales offices.

You have defined access parameters for the reservation system and entered the relevant codes for the organizational group or user group for which the access parameters are to apply.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Via F4 possible entries, choose a group for sales office determination. You have already created the groups in the IMG activity Define access parameters for reservation system per group.
  3. Choose the processing type of the sales office .
  4. Choose the Reservation system for this group for sales office determination. The appropriate logical system is automatically displayed.
  5. Choose a possible sales office .
