You must now specify exact identification codes for each of the hotels that you have already stored in the enterprise-specific hotel catalog (IMG activity Define enterprise-specific hotel catalog). The hotels are registered under these identification codes in the connected reservation system.
Since these codes are dependent on the reservation system, you have to store the corresponding identification code per hotel for each global reservation system in this activity.
Effect on the dialog of the hotel query:
If the hotel catalog is active (see IMG activity Define price and availability strategies), in a hotel availability query first the hotel catalog is checked. All hotels that are stored in the hotel catalog are then displayed.
If, however, no hotel identification code has been stored for the relevant reservation system, the hotel is indicated by a red light as not bookable in an availability query.
