In this section you create room classes. Unlike the room types, that are predefined on the basis of industrial standards in the reservation system, room classes are enterprise-specific. Room classes make it possible to assign the various room types according to enterprise-specific criteria to different classes.

The definition of room classes is a prerequisite for later specification of the class rules, with which you can control the selection of travel services per employee (see Define class rules for hotel and Specify hotel class rules).

In the standard system the following room classes are supplied as presettings:

  • Tourist class
  • Standard
  • Upper standard
  • Luxury

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter the one-place code for room class.
  3. Enter a name for the new room class.

Further notes

The maintenance view in Customizing is language-dependent. Make sure that any necessary translations are done.
