Use
If you call up F4 Help for the departure or destination airports in a flight availability query, the location of a hotel in the hotel availability query, or for the pick-up or drop-off location for a rental car in the car rental availabily query, the system calls up a list of IATA locations from the corresponding table that meet the criteria entered. In certain situations this can lead to the user being given a list of locations that includes many entries that are actually not relevant or required.
Requirements
If an entry for the current combination of sales office determination grouping and user category does not exits, F4 help will return an unlimited list of IATA locations relevant for the entry made. This means the System functions in the same way as calling F4 help for any other standard field.
If, on the other hand, at least one entry for the current combination of sales office determination grouping and user category exists, F4 help will return a list the only contains IATA locations whose attributes IND_IATA (IATA indicator) and LOC_TYPE (Location type) are stored in this table in the combination given (Sales office determinati determination grouping, user category, IATA indicator, location type). In other words a positive list.

Activities
Example
If you want F4 Help for the departure and destination airports to only call up IATA locations that are airports, cities or cities that are also airports, you need to enter these three choices for each sales office determination grouping in the table. The user category is is the category that you use, according to sales office determination grouping, for flights (in the standard system: 'F').
Warning: Some airlines service certain requests not with flights but with a different transport type, the data is however, still processed as being a flight. For example, you can travel by train from Frankfurt (FRA) to Bonn (BNJ) by train, but still receive a flight number. This train journey is booked as a flight, and Bonn (BNJ) is, therefore, flagged as being both a train station and a city.
