In this step, you define the cross-country regions relevant for you for Travel Planning. Cross-country regions are SAP-specific and, unlike IATA locations, freely definable.
Cross-country regions are used as delimitation criteria for the specification of trip rules for the corresponding travel service categories.
In the following section, Define assignment of countries to cross-country regions, you assign the regions you have defined to the corresponding countries.
