In this step you create the individual subviews of the control station. You can, for example, define a tree for each topic area, fill it out in the section Assign components to the subviews of the control station according to your wishes, and then assign control variant.

Example

A certain group of system adminstrators is, for example, responsible for settings concerning rates with car rental providers. For this user group, you can create a subview in the control station, to which all IMG activities for maintenance of car rental rates and the Internet pages of the relevant car rental providers are assigned.

  2. Enter a short (maximum of 8 places) name for the subview to be created.
  3. Enter a description of the subview.

Further notes

The maintenance view in Customizing is language-dependent. Make sure that any necessary translations are done.
