In this step, you define change pointers for basic and structure data (message type PCHEAD) and item data (message type PCITEMS).

Example

Writing of change pointers can be defined for certain fields. If these fields are changed in the master data, change pointers will not be written if they are not activated, which means that IDocs are not created.

Requirements

For these settings to be effective, the writing of change pointers for the message types must be activated and the change pointers themselves must be activated in general.
