Use
In this Customizing activity, you configure the in-house repair as one of the logistical follow-up activities that you can choose in the Material Inspection in Warehouse transaction in Advanced Returns Management.
Requirements
In the Customizing activity Define Sales Document Types, you have created appropriate repair order types (sales document types for in-house repair orders).
Standard settings
In the standard system, repair order type RA2 has been assigned to returns order type RE2.
Activities
Assign a suitable repair order type for in-house repairs to the returns order types you use for Advanced Returns Processing.
Specify for the assignment whether you want the goods movement from the returns stock to the repair order stock to be posted immediately when the logistical follow-up activity is confirmed in the material inspection. In addition, specify whether you want a repair item to also be created immediately when the repair order is created.
