Use
In this IMG activity, you can specify specific movement types for immediate goods receipt postings to free available stock or specified stock in Advanced Returns Management. These postings are related to the logistical follow-up activities Immediately Move to Free Available Stock and Immediately Move to Specified Stock, both of which you can select for returns order items.
Usually, the movement type that is specified in the corresponding schedule line category of a returns order item defines the stock type to which a returned material is posted in the goods receipt for a returns order. However, the movement types you enter here for the mentioned logistical follow-up activities overwrite that setting.
Requirements
You have defined the movement types that you want to use in IMG activity Copy, Change Movement Types.
You have defined the schedule line categories in IMG activity Define Schedule Line Categories.
Standard settings
If you do not enter a movement type for the goods receipt postings associated with the mentioned logistical follow-up activities here, then the system takes the movement type from the schedule line category of the returns order item.
Activities
For the relevant schedule line categories, enter the required movement types for the two mentioned logistical follow-up activities in the corresponding columns.
Note
The system shows all maintained schedule line categories together with the movement type, not only those relevant for Advanced Returns Management.
