Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system ithe assignment of fields to field groups already maintained.
You only have to execute this activity when you have defined enterprise-specific fields and you want to use version types.

Recommendation

Activities

Below sexplains how to define a field group that uses your enterprise-specific fields:

  • Enter a key for the field group as well as a descriptive text.
  • Highlight the field group and select Field paackages.

    A dialog box appears where you can define the work area.

  • Enter the work area and add the following data:
    • Client
    • Table name
    • Field name
    • Field package

Your enterprise.specific field are assigned to field groups when you save the fields. You can use these field groups in the activity Maintain version type.
