Use

In this step, you determine for each relevant country which infotype group must be assigned to a specific category type (social insurance, taxes, etc.) and run during the assignment activation, so that the correct infotypes are included in the sequence for changes.

For more information on infotype groups, see also the Personnel Management IMG (Personnel Administration > Customizing Procedures > Actions > Info group).

Requirements

You must have completed the activity Define Category Types.

In addition, the relevant infotype groups must be available in the system. If not, execute the transaction Personnel Actions and go through all the necessary steps.

Standard settings

The SAP system is shipped with the following model entries:

  • Infotype group Changes for Global EE assigned to category type Social Security, valid for Germany.
  • Infotype group Changes for Global EE assigned to category type Tax, valid for the United States.

Activities

To link a category type to a personnel action:

  1. Click New entries.
  2. Select the applicable country.
  3. Assign the infotype group to the category type by selecting the desired option in the relevant fields.
  4. Save your entries.
  5. Repeat the previously mentioned steps for any further combinations.
