Use
In this Customizing activity, you can flexibly control the priority of certain attributes when assembling a formula. The condition technique finds the parts of the formula. Each condition is related to one or more business attributes. These business attributes are considered when it comes to Formula Assembly (FA).
By prioritizing attributes, you can control how the formula is assembled.
How Priority is Determined
The system assembles a formula based on condition techniques. Each part of the formula is technically a condition, and each condition is related to one or more business attributes, such as Sales Organization and Material, for example.
One condition has a higher priority than a second condition if one of its related business attribute has a higher priority than all the related business attributes of the second condition, regardless of the number of business attributes associated with either condition. If the highest prioritized attribute of two conditions are the same, the next highest priority attribute determines the rank. Therefore, the higher prioritized condition replaces the relevant part of the second condition in the FA.
