Use

In this activity, you define risk distribution plan profiles for generating raw exposures.

To a profile, you assign a distribution strategy for distributing the target quantity of a contract item. You can specify whether the system updates the risk distribution plan automatically when you change the target quantity of a contract item or the validity period of a contract. When saving the contract the system automatically redetermines the raw exposures in Treasury and Risk Management.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the default risk distribution strategy, the system performs a distribution to the date of the contract item target quantity for a total period of a maximum of two years.

Activities

  • Check the assigned risk distribution strategy of the profile in question. If no risk distribution strategy has been assigned, you must distribute the target quantity manually each time you change the contract item target quantity or contract validity period.
  • You can create a new risk distribution profile and assign it to the standard risk distribution strategy.
  • To specify an automatic update of the risk distribution plan, set the Automatic RDP Update flag.
  • To define additional risk distribution strategies, you must derive a class from the interface IF_LOGTRM_RISK_DISTR_STRAT. SAP recommends that you base this class on CL_LOG_TRM_RDP_EQUAL_DISTR (Daily Distribution).
