In this IMG activity you define the reasons for giving notice on a contract. If you have activated the notice reason in field selection for the product type, (IMG activity Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type), the notice reasons you define here are available as possible entries both on the Notice tab of the condition header in the contract and in the payoff business operation on the Administrative Data tab.
Activities
To create a new notice reason, choose New Entries.
Enter a key for the notice reason and a corresponding text. The indicator Further editing in internal functions is not supported. Leave this field blank.
If you select the Notice Reason field, the system also displays this entry under Payoff -> Define Reasons for Notice. Note that if you change your entries or create new entries there, then these are also displayed here. You can choose from these entries as Notice Reasons in the payoff function.
If you do not select the Notice Reason field, the system displays this entry under Payoff -> Define Payoff Reasons. Note here also that if you change your entries or create new entries in that activity, then these are also displayed here. You can choose from these entries as Payoff Reasons in the payoff function.
