Use

In this IMG activity, you determine the letters that a business partner receives by assigning correspondence types to correspondence activities and roles.

Requirements

You need to have carried out the following IMG activities:

  • Define Correspondence Activities
  • Define Correspondence Types
  • Define Dispatch Control
  • Define Role Types for Correspondence

If you want to create correspondence for different products, you must first create the product.

Note

The product is only available if you are using the functions for Consumer Loans or Installment Loans.

You can find the product in the SAP Easy Access Menu under Accounting -> Bank Applications -> Loans Management -> Current Settings.

Activities

Example

You want to send a mortgage contract to the main borrower in the correspondence activity Mortgage: Process Contract (160). In addition, you would like to send a copy of the contract to the guarantor of the loan. In this case, you need to make two entries:

  • Entry for sending the original:
    Correspondence activity 0160
    Sequence number 10
    Role for the recipient of the original TR0100
    Role type for the recipient of the original A100
    Role TR0100
    Role type A100
    Correspondence type BL43
  • Entry for sending the copy:
    Correspondence activity 0160
    Sequence number 20
    Role for the recipient of the original TR0100
    Role type for the recipient of the original A100
    Role TR0200
    Role type A200
    Correspondence type BL43
